I have seen 698 species in the ABA "Classic" area (out of 1038), of which 674 have been photographed.
I have seen 256 species and named subspecies of butterflies in the US and Canada (and photographed all but two of those). The North American Butterfly Assn (NABA) recognizes 837, so I still have a way to go.
I have seen 104 species of Odonates (38 damsels and 66 dragonflies) in the US and Canada (all photographed). The Dragonfly Society of the Americas recognizes 465, so I still have a way to go.
