I have seen 705 species in the ABA "Classic" area (out of 1060), of which 682 have been photographed.
I have seen 266 species and named subspecies of butterflies in the US and Canada (and photographed all but one of those). The North American Butterfly Assn (NABA) recognizes 837, so I still have a way to go.
I have seen 109 species of Odonates (40 damsels and 69 dragonflies) in the US and Canada (all photographed). The Dragonfly Society of the Americas recognizes 465, so I still have a way to go.
