I have seen 685 species in the ABA "Classic" area (out of 1012), of which 655 have been photographed.
I have seen 248 species and named subspecies of butterflies in the US and Canada (and photographed all but two of those). The North American Butterfly Assn (NABA) recognizes 837, so I still have a way to go.
I have seen 90 species of Odonates (33 damsels and 57 dragonflies) in the US and Canada (all photographed). The Dragonfly Society of the Americas recognizes 465, so I have a really long way to go.
